I was looking up and down for a new router since my TMnet’s Dlink router broke down. I can’t be bothered to claim for warranty and get frustrated by the waiting time dealing with them. I head down to
OneTJ, Stutong to look for the router. MicronTM, one of my former favourite store was selling RM110.00. Some shops at the ground floor were selling at RM120.00, RM130.00 with no discount, not a single cent. I argued that KL was selling cheaper and it’s a lot of difference and they replied saying KL is different, they have bulk.
The cheapest I found was PCImage, which was selling it at RM90.0 after discount. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring much cash and wanted to use my credit card. The minimum amount for credit card is Rm100.00. I didn’t buy it in the end. Got home and ordered online for RM74.80 + RM13.00 for shipping. Total up to RM87.80. Paid with my credit card with no extra charges.
Ordered online + Shipping and still ended up cheaper. The IT hardware market in Kuching is just ridiculous. So my advice, make your research on price comparison before making purchase.
